On Wednesday the 3rd of June Kris Wilson visited room 18 he talked to us about sustainable architechture and how his business is starting to design "Eco-houses" it was very interesting we found out that 50% of all waste in NZ is from building sites.
He also showed us some houses he had designed.

Joe And Cements visit

On Tuesday the second of June Clement and Joe from SIFE at the university of Waikato visited us and talked to us about waste Disposal and worm farming.
Then we did a waster audit it was scary how much paper we use per day if we had a worm farm we would be able to feed to the worms.

My Job on the Matai Island

I am quite interested in the economy and economics so on the island I would like to be something like the minister of trade or the minister of economic development I think it would be cool trading with the other islands like for example if someone wanted to be a blacksmith I would trade with an island to get the blacksmith some iron ore or an other metal.

What is an eco house?

Hello I was wondering what is an Eco house I googled it and I found this it is a brief overview of what an Eco house is.

If I was to design an Eco house it would be framed with wood and the inside would probably be made out of wood the roof would be wood and bamboo nailed closely together the external walls would be mud bricks, I would soalar panels attached to the roof so I could have power.
